1. Overview

This policy explains how we deliver our products, the timeframes you can expect, what is included in your delivery, and what we ask of you on the day. It applies to all orders placed with Peak Sauna Ice through our website, by email, by phone or in person at our display or warehouse.

We will always confirm the specifics of your delivery (date, fee, access requirements and what is included) at the time of quote, before you pay your deposit.

2. Where we deliver

Saunas (in our local zone)

Delivery and installation of our saunas is included for addresses on the Mornington Peninsula and across metropolitan Melbourne. Delivery and install prices are itemised for transparency, including for those who prefer to collect and install themselves. Where the delivery and install option is included, our team will deliver and install your sauna in the agreed on-site location.

Saunas (outside our local zone)

For sauna addresses outside our local zone, an additional regional fee applies and is calculated based on distance. Out-of-zone deliveries are quoted on a case by case basis, so please get in touch with your address and we will come back to you with a quote. Where a sauna is shipped without a Peak installer, it is supplied on a delivery-only basis (see below).

Ice baths and chillers

We ship ice baths and chillers Australia wide. These are supplied on a delivery-only basis unless a setup service is included in your quote. Freight is calculated at the time of quote based on the product, your delivery address and any access considerations.

What delivery-only means

Delivery-only orders (including ice baths, chillers, depot collections and out-of-zone saunas without a Peak installer) are delivered to the kerbside or to a freight depot, whichever is agreed in your quote. The freight provider will deliver to the nearest practical access point that is safe and legally accessible for the delivery vehicle. Moving the goods from the kerb or depot to the final installation location is the customer’s responsibility, unless we have agreed in writing to provide that service.

If you need additional services such as a tailgate lift, forklift, two-person lift or crane, please tell us at the time of quote so we can include it. Where this is identified at or after delivery, any additional freight charges will be passed on.

3. Delivery cost

Delivery and installation of your sauna is included for addresses on the Mornington Peninsula and across metropolitan Melbourne. There are no published flat rates for areas outside this zone. Your delivery cost is worked out based on km distance from the closest metro Melbourne town to your regional address and provided to you by a quote on request and approved by you prior to payment.

4. Lead times

Lead times depend on whether your product is in stock, on the water, in production, or built to your specifications. We will confirm your delivery window in writing when you place your order. All timeframes are indicative and may be affected by manufacturing capacity, freight, customs clearance and site readiness.

In stock

Stocked items are typically available for collection, delivery or installation within approximately 1 to 3 weeks of order.

In transit

Items already shipping to us are typically delivered or installed within approximately 4 to 6 weeks of order, depending on shipping and customs.

In production

Items that are in production have a typical lead time of 10 to 14 weeks from order confirmation to delivery or installation. We will share progress milestones along the way and confirm your final date as it approaches.

If we expect a delay, we will let you know as early as possible. Late or delayed payments may also delay production, shipment or installation, in which case revised lead times will apply.

5. Booking your delivery

Once your product is ready and the relevant payment milestones in your quote have been met, we will be in touch to schedule your delivery or installation. We will agree on a date and a time window that suits you, and confirm what to expect on the day. For delivery-only orders, someone aged 18 or over needs to be on site to take delivery and sign for the goods.

For delivery-only orders, goods will not be dispatched or released to the freight provider until the full invoiced amount has been received in cleared funds. For orders that include installation, dispatch follows the milestones set out in your quote.

6. Site access and preparation

To make sure delivery (and where applicable, installation) goes smoothly, please have your site ready before we arrive. Site preparation is the customer’s responsibility, or we can quote you for the prep if needed. We will walk you through what is needed at the time of quote, but in general you should ensure:

  • A clear, level pad or surface that drains well so water doesn’t pool, and is structurally suitable (for example, adequate decking or slab) for the weight and footprint of the product.

  • Clear, safe and unobstructed access for delivery vehicles, installers and equipment, including any gates, paths, stairs or tight corners. For delivery-only orders, this means access to the kerbside or depot collection point; for installs, access from the vehicle through to the agreed install location.

  • Suitable parking or standing room for the delivery vehicle close to the site.

  • Any known site constraints (narrow side access, steep or shared driveways, height restrictions, apartment or body corporate rules) disclosed to us before booking, so we can plan and quote accurately.

  • Power organised in advance where required. Electrical work is not included in our quote, however we are happy to share the details of electricians we work with regularly.

  • Any council, body corporate or strata approvals in place before delivery.

If the site is not ready, access is unsafe, or conditions are materially different from those described at the time of quote, we may postpone delivery or installation and charge a reasonable re-visit fee, plus any additional time, equipment hire or freight costs incurred.

7. On the day

If you are picking up from Seaford

You are welcome to collect saunas and ice baths from our warehouse in Seaford. Pickups are by appointment only, so we can have your order ready to go and help you load. At pickup, you will be asked to sign for your order to confirm it has been received in good condition, so please inspect the goods before you sign and let us know on the spot if anything looks wrong.

If your order is delivery-only

When our freight partner delivers your order, please inspect the outer packaging and visible parts of the goods at the point of delivery. Any visible damage, missing components or shortages should be raised immediately with the driver or depot staff before they leave, recorded on the delivery note or digital proof of delivery where practicable, and supported with clear photos.

If your order includes installation

Our team will deliver your sauna and / or ice bath and complete the installation included in your quote. Please inspect the goods at completion of installation. Any visible damage, defect or missing component should be raised with our installer on site before they leave, with photos taken at the time.

8. Damage, defects and missing items

If any damage, defect or missing component is identified after delivery or completion of installation, please notify us in writing within 48 hours, including photos and a brief description, to info@peaksaunaice.au. We will coordinate with our freight partners or suppliers to assess responsibility and remedy the issue in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and our warranty.

9. Risk and ownership

Risk in the goods passes to you on completion of delivery for delivery-only orders, or on completion of installation and handover for installed orders. Title to the goods remains with Peak Sauna Ice until we have received full payment in cleared funds.

10. Changes, delays and rescheduling

If you need to change your delivery date, please let us know as early as possible and we will do our best to accommodate. If we need to change a date due to a production, freight or weather delay, we will give you as much notice as we can and reschedule. Any change to the product, specification, site location or scope of work after acceptance of your quote may be treated as a variation and may affect the price, lead time and delivery date; variations will be confirmed with you in writing before we proceed.

Missed deliveries, redelivery and storage charges applied by the freight provider, and additional storage or handling fees at a freight depot, may be passed on to the customer where these arise from circumstances on your side.

11. International orders

We currently deliver within Australia only and do not ship internationally.
